Notice on the Launch of the 2012 “Forty-Day Safe Summer” Campaign
Dear employees, As the saying goes, “Xiaoshu isn’t really hot, but Dasha brings the dog days of summer.” In 2012, the start of the “Dog Days” falls on July 18. First and foremost, I would like to extend my highest respect to all our colleagues who are working tirelessly on the production front lines. Since 2011, we have been running a special safety campaign called “Forty Days of Safe Summer,” personally overseen by the General Manager. Our company has never relaxed its commitment to safety; since May 2009, we have conducted monthly mutual safety inspections between our two plants, a practice that has now continued for 37 months. As the saying goes, “Xiaoshu isn’t really hot, but Dasha ushers in the dog days of summer.” In 2012, the start of the “Dog Days” fell on July 18. First and foremost, we extend our highest respect to all employees who are working tirelessly on the production front lines. Since 2011, our “Forty-Day Safe Summer” campaign has been a dedicated safety initiative personally overseen by the General Manager. Our company has never wavered in its commitment to safety; since May 2009, we have conducted monthly mutual safety inspections between our two plants, a practice that has now spanned 37 months. Throughout this period, each meticulous and thorough inspection has effectively eliminated potential safety hazards. As summer arrives, the PCB manufacturing industry enters a peak season for accidents, making it all the more critical for the entire organization to unite and rigorously implement the General Manager’s sixteen-character guiding principle: “systematic screening, targeted control, key improvements, and long-term prevention.”
“Systematic inspection” means ensuring that no item is overlooked during the summer safety campaign and establishing a systematic approach to identification and assessment. “Focused control” entails using this campaign to thoroughly address pressing safety issues and achieve the goal of resolutely preventing recurrence. “Key improvements” involve developing corrective measures for critical safety hazards and ensuring these measures can maintain stability over an extended period. “Long-term prevention” refers to formulating corresponding long-term management protocols following each summer safety initiative, implementing continuous improvement through the PDCA cycle.
We urge everyone to remain vigilant about safety throughout the event, promptly report any potential hazards, and ensure that the entire company and each employee enjoy a safe and smooth summer.
