Standing in solidarity with businesses, we will weather this temporary challenge and do our utmost to address the economic crisis.

The financial crisis triggered by U.S. subprime mortgages spread from developed countries to developing ones, from the virtual economy to the real economy, and from China’s economically advanced coastal regions to its less-developed central and western areas. Its impact on the economy and society has been unprecedented in scale, scope, and severity. This sudden “financial tsunami” has struck our company much like a fierce winter storm or an unexpected cold snap in early spring. For us, this chilling blow has meant enduring the bitter cold through patience and perseverance, as well as settling and biding our time amid the ice and snow—seeking opportunities in danger and uncovering our true potential amid challenges. With unwavering confidence, we will press forward in our work…

The financial crisis triggered by U.S. subprime mortgages spread from developed countries to developing ones, from the virtual economy to the real economy, and from China’s economically advanced coastal regions to its less-developed central and western areas—exerting an unprecedented impact on the economy and society in terms of magnitude, scope, and severity. This sudden “financial tsunami” has struck our company much like a fierce winter storm or an unexpected cold snap in early spring. For us, this chilling wave represents both patient endurance amid biting frost and quiet reflection amid icy stillness—seeking opportunities in peril and unlocking our potential through challenge.
Firmly maintain confidence and implement energy conservation and consumption reduction in our work.
When formulating development plans, we must exercise greater caution and prioritize cost control, striving to maximize the return on every investment. With regard to managing logistics costs for our company’s imported materials, first, we should carefully adjust transportation modes as needed. To reduce procurement‑related logistics expenses, we need to optimize the choice of transport methods, identify overlapping weight‑based thresholds across different options, establish clear breakpoints for weight and volume, and set forth fundamental guidelines for selecting the most appropriate mode of transport. We should also maintain timely communication with our business teams to ensure that logistics cost management begins at the very moment goods are dispatched. Second, we must place great emphasis on selecting reliable transportation service providers. Regardless of the chosen mode—whether air, sea, or road—we should closely monitor price fluctuations among logistics suppliers, solicit multiple quotes, and compare them before making a final decision; this is the most direct way to lower logistics costs. Third, we should understand the production schedule’s time requirements for purchased materials and coordinate with suppliers to consolidate shipments of orders with approaching delivery dates. This approach not only helps cut transportation costs but also reduces various fees associated with customs clearance and inspection, enabling more effective cost control.
Pay attention to details and practice frugality in everyday office tasks.
Resource conservation and efficiency not only manifest in our day-to-day work; every action at Pulin embodies the spirit of frugality and thrift. Saving water, electricity, and office supplies can be as simple as a small effort on our part. As the weather grows warmer, when using air conditioning, we can remind ourselves to set the indoor temperature around 28°C. With summer here and long daylight hours, during working hours we should keep the lights off whenever possible; and if a computer is left idle for an extended period, we can turn off the monitor instead of shutting down the entire system. Let’s strive for paperless operations to reduce our consumption of office supplies. For each of us, even the smallest gesture matters. As the saying goes, “A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” The collective efforts of every individual can help lighten the load on our company’s path forward.
In times of crisis, we stand shoulder to shoulder with our company, weathering temporary challenges together and doing everything possible to cut costs and conserve resources in response to the economic downturn. We translate all efforts to eliminate waste and reduce consumption into concrete actions—grounded in pragmatism, ensuring that every promise is kept and every initiative delivers results. By turning risks into opportunities, we will see our company through this winter; and when the cold gives way, we can be confident that a warm spring lies ahead.
